The Restored Flow

An end
looms
the obsolete
breaks
the flow of life
cuts off

My mind has trouble
Focus is lamentable
Presence is absence

it was an encounter
like no other that afternoon
as the sun set
its lights on the palm fronds

she looked at me
with her big eyes
